Hill Associates Corporation is seeking a Business Operations Analyst (II) to join our team supporting the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in a large Washington, D.C. Cabinet-level Federal agency. The position will report to the consulting team’s Program Manager. The position will initially focus on the Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) group within OCIO supporting management and oversight of an enterprise contract for vendor-managed Wide Area Network (WAN), voice, and telecommunications services. It will involve interfacing with program key stakeholders that are both federal employees and contractors.

The Business Operations Analyst (II) will support program stakeholders in the management and oversight of an enterprise contract for WAN, Local Area Network (LAN), Voice over IP (VoIP), and related network-based communications technologies, and delivery of those services to enterprise stakeholders as a Shared Services Program. General knowledge of supported services is required (i.e., WAN, LAN, VoIP). The position also requires exceptional written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, critical thinking abilities, and effective collaboration with a variety of stakeholders.

Remote-based support in the Washington, D.C. area is currently supported but the position is likely to transition to on-site work at a customer location in Washington, D.C. There is a possibility of occasional swing or mid-shift support.

What You Will Get to Do:

The Business Operations Analyst manages tasks, action items, risks, issues, and schedules while working with stakeholders to drive projects forward. The position involves meeting facilitation with program staff, leadership, and customers, capture and maintenance program datasets to include service delivery tracking, service inventories, pricing information, and financial data, vendor engagement for process evaluation and improvement, support for various smaller-scale projects involving one or more program customers, development of procedural documentation, and ad-hoc reporting.

You Will Bring These Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in an IT function or related technical capacity

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, information technology, or relevant field of study

  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative abilities

  • Critical and creative thinker with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in complex situations with varying degrees of ambiguity and change

  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and to independently execute and

  • advance tasks

  • Solid written and oral communication skills

  • Knowledge of business analysis, methods, and supporting toolsets

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct or indirect Federal Government experience

  • Familiarity with Federal Government Program Management Offices

  • MBI Security Clearance (Public Trust) or ability to obtain a higher level clearance
